Recognising the growing need for accurate clinical diagnostic testing at the point of care (POC) setting, Fannin continues to build on it’s extensive portfolio of POC tests. Our Partnership with key players in POCT allows us to offer the most advanced, accurate and clinically beneficial tests in the POC setting.

Diabetes (Glucose):
First of its kind, patented electochemical testing strip technology (StatStrip), from Nova Biomedical eliminates interferences from Maltose, Haematocrit, Oxygen and other interfering substances commonly experienced with standard Glucose testing strip technologies. Rapid testing times, coupled with small sample volume, provides an all-round superior product for the clinical professional

Diabetes (A1C):
Through Bio-Rad’s novel POC in2it device which measures A1C (a well established indicator of a diabetic patient's glucose control), Fannin can now offer the healthcare professional greater efficiency and convenience by providing laboratory-accurate A1C test results -- while the patient waits.

Pregnancy (HCG):
Clearview HCG pregnancy test is a rapid diagnostic device for the qualitative detection of human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) in urine. The presence and rapid rise of hCG levels in urine make it an excellent marker for the diagnosis of pregnancy.

Pregnancy (pre-term birth):
The Careplan VpH (vaginal pH) Glove is a self examination aid to help reduce the risk of pre-term birth. It is designed for measuring the acidity of the vaginal environment. Vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis increase the relative risk of pre-term birth. The Careplan VpH Glove enables pregnant patients to measure their pH values from the early stages of their pregnancy through to the 37th week of gestation. The easy-to-use glove is both reliable and effective and therefore, in most cases, threatening infections can be detected and treated in a timely manner.

Chlamydia:
Clearview Chlamydia test is a rapid immunoassay for the detection of the Chlamydia trachomatis antigen. The Clearview Chlamydia test can be performed alongside the patient, with results available during the same patient visit.

HIV 1/2:
Clearview COMPLETE HIV 1/2 is a single-use immunochromatographic test for the detection of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Types 1 (HIV-1) and (HIV-2) antibodies in whole blood (fingerstick or venous), serum or plasma specimens. The Clearview HIV test is an easy to use rapid diagnostic ideal for use at point-of-care.

HIV 1/2:
Determine® HIV-1/2 Ag/ Ab Combo provides simple, fast and accurate diagnosis. As a rapid, point-of-care test, it is designed for use in diverse settings, from the physician’s office in the developed world to the most remote environment in the developing world.

Streptococcus A:
The Clearview Exact Strep A test is a rapid test for the visual, qualitative detection of Group A Streptococcal antigen directly from throat swabs. This test is intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis of Group A Streptococcal infection and is for invitro diagnostic professional use only. The Clearview Exact Strep A test is a simple, rapid diagnostic test offering fast results and excellent sensitivity, with in-built procedural controls to show that the test has been performed correctly.

Influenza A & B:
The Clearview Exact Influenza A & B test is a rapid diagnostic test for the qualitative detection and differentiation of Influenza A and B virus antigen directly from nasal swabs. The test is used to obtain a visual result to aid in the diagnosis of Influenza A and/or influenza B infection. The test is a rapid immunoassay test with results in just 15 minutes.

Infectious Mononucleosis:
The Clearview IM rapid diagnostic test is the one-step solution to aid the diagnosis of Infectious Mononucleosis. The kit is a simple, rapid immunoassay for the qualitative detection of infectious mononucleosis IgM heterophile antibodies in human whole blood, serum or plasma specimens. Clearview IM is ideal for the laboratory or the doctor’s office, and provides reliable results in just 5 minutes (serum and plasma only).

D-dimer:
Clearview Simplify D-dimer is a rapid diagnostic test for the qualitative detection of D-dimer in human whole blood (capillary or venous) and plasma, for use as an aid in the assessment and evaluation of patients with suspected Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC), Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), and Pulmonary Embolism (PE).

Troponin I:
Clearview Troponin I is a rapid qualitative test for detection of cardiac Troponin I from whole blood or serum samples. It can be used as an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction and can be useful to assess if chest pain is of cardiac or non-cardiac origin (e.g. gastric pain, strained chest muscles, stress or back problems).

Faecal Occult Blood (FOB):
FOB testing primarily functions as a screening method for early colorectal cancer. The Clearview FOB test is designed to detect human haemoglobin in faeces and is a simple and rapid diagnostic test offering fast results and excellent sensitivity. The advanced technology of the Clearview FOB test gives healthcare practitioners extra confidence in its accuracy. The in-built procedural control indicates that the test has been performed correctly.

Creatinine:
Simple, fast and accurate Creatinine and eGFR testing (Nova StatSensor) at the point of care providing numerous benefits in a wide range of clinical departments including radiology and renal.

Lactate:
Measures blood lactate at the Sports Performance clinic giving rapid and accurate results indicative of muscle performance.

Blood Gas:
Advanced technology blood gas, electrolyte and chemistry analysers for use in the critical and point of care settings.

Helicobacter Pylori:
13C-Urea POC breath test for H pylori infection, considered the gold standard test when it comes to diagnosis of this infection of the gastric mucosa.
