Pregnancy (pre-term birth):
The Careplan VpH (vaginal pH) Glove is a self examination aid to help reduce the risk of pre-term birth. It is designed for measuring the acidity of the vaginal environment. Vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis increase the relative risk of pre-term birth. The Careplan VpH Glove enables pregnant patients to measure their pH values from the early stages of their pregnancy through to the 37th week of gestation.
